Help me learn about myself...

I ran across this from a friend's link... since I'm still discovering who I am and why I am the way I am, I figured it couldn't hurt! I'd appreciate your honest input :)

Reunited and it feels so good...

Hootie and the Blowfish came to see me last weeked (May 12th to be exact) at the Taste of Addison festival. It's been almost exactly 10 years since I last saw them in concert... hard to believe! And the amazing thing is I think I like them even more now than I did in 8th grade. And I got another t-shirt (which you can see to the right)! Which is a good thing, because my OG shirt was looking worse for the wear, in fact I retired it in high school. I felt like those were the years I became a die-hard Hootie fan, because I wore it after the new had worn off and had to deal with the "hatas" who thought Hootie and the Blowfish were past their prime. (Musical snobbery note: Obviously, they have only trendy musical tastes and an unrefined musical palate!)

I took a ton of pictures and had fun playing with the video function on my new digital camera... and most of them came out really well, even the sound, which was surprising. So now I can relive snippets of the concert at any time...excellent! I had such a great time and got to see some friends I don't get to see very often, especially Annie and Heather. I wasn't so excited about seeing "the Jim", but he wasn't scary, didn't do the creepy stare and seemed to be trying his best to be nice to me, which made my efforts much easier! We had all tried to go to a Hootie concert at Six Flags in early 2004 but we stood out in the rain for 2 hours all for naught... they canceled the concert. :( We were so sad and so miserable, but finally we got the concert we'd waited for! So it all has a happy ending. That's all I have for now... enjoy the pictures I've posted below!
